This Chat Series will review and analyze recent developments related to tax legislation related to the real estate and construction industries, including pending proposals and their likelihood of enactment. The session will review and discuss the potential consequences of recent and proposed tax legislation for real estate assets, investment, and ownership. It will also discuss some tax planning strategies to consider before year end.

Scott Warren joined Warren Averett in 2002 and is a Member of the Firm’s Tax Division. He has more than 19 years of experience in the field of public accounting and is responsible
for supervising and managing corporate, individual and partnership taxation, as well as business and individual tax consulting for his clients. Scott is also involved with teaching continuing professional education courses to Members of the Firm and speaks at trade associations such as the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and the Home Builders Association. Scott resides in Pensacola with his wife and three children.
