Jennifer Conoley, CEcD

President & CEO

Florida’s Great Northwest

After her non-profit public relations career morphed into the economic development profession, Jennifer Conoley has been working to enable Northwest Florida to create new, quality jobs through assisting companies in locating or expanding their business to the region since 2009.

Conoley became the leader of the regional economic development organization for the Florida panhandle, Florida’s Great Northwest (FGNW), in March 2020. FGNW is responsible for leading and supporting the growth and diversification of the 12-county region in Northwest Florida through promotion as a top location for business, collaboration of strategies that enhance regional competitiveness and advocacy of key issues that impact economic development efforts.

Before joining FGNW, Conoley was a senior economic development project manager for Gulf Power for seven years and was responsible for assisting companies in locating or expanding their business in Northwest Florida as well as developing marketing strategies designed to promote the area as an ideal business location. She began her economic development career with the Bay County Economic Development Alliance in Panama City, Fla. in March 2009 serving as project and marketing manager.

Conoley graduated summa cum laude from Florida State University and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication. In 2018, she joined an elite group of professionals in becoming a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD). Her most recent accomplishments and recognitions include:
