 About Mayor Matt Dannheisser

Matt is a 5th generation Pensacolian whose family roots in Northwest Florida date back to the early 1850's. He attended the University of Florida, graduating with honors with a degree in Finance. He then attended law school, also at the University of Florida, where he graduated in 1982. He has resided in Gulf Breeze since 1987.

Mr. Dannheisser has practiced law in the Pensacola Area for 34 years and is regarded by his peers as among the "Preeminent" lawyers in the State as evidenced based prestigious "A" rating bestowed upon him by the esteemed Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review process. He specializes in Local Government Law and Small Business Law. He has provided legal services for most of the governmental bodies in the area, and has served as General Counsel for many of them-including the Santa Rosa Island Authority, Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office, City of Gulf Breeze, and Town of Century. Matt served as a city attorney for Gulf Breeze for about 25 years before becoming its Mayor in December 2014.

About Samantha Adell

Samantha Adell is a 15- year public administrator with 8 years of executive-level management experience specializing in economic development and strategic planning. Samantha began working as Deputy City Manager in August 2016. 

The What’s Up! Chat Series is an educational program which connects our membership with local experts and community leaders in an informal setting. This format creates a unique opportunity for speaker and audience to understand an issue’s impact on commercial real estate and the community as a whole.
