Jeff Helms currently serves as a Vice President and Pensacola office leader for Atkins. Prior to his present role with the company he served as Senior Program Director for Atkins’ general engineering consultant (GEC) assignment with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Three. Derrik Owens serves as the Director of Public Works/Facilities and City Engineer for the City of Pensacola. He has a BS in Civil Engineering from Florida State University and a Master of Environmental Engineering from the University of South Florida. He is a registered professional engineer (PE) in both Florida and Alabama and has been credentialed by the American Association of Water Resource Engineers (AAWRE) as a Diplomate Water Resource Expert (D.WRE).
